The Henry Rosovsky Program for Collaboration in East Asia
The Asia Institute
The Rosovsky Program at the Asia Institute issues a call for papers on critical new challenges related to security in East Asia and the world.
Papers can be of any length, from 10 to 40 pages, and the final versions should include detailed references to original sources making them suitable for publication in an academic journal.
Asia Institute will offer help with the writing and editing of the papers, arrange seminars to discuss the content of the papers, and otherwise assist in producing a first-rate article worthy of eventual publication.
In addition, there is funding available for research papers (ranging from 300 to 1000 USD) in some cases.
Topics for papers:
The concrete implications for United States military and intelligence of the DOGE reforms and cuts.
The application of MAGA ideology in national security and its impact on analysis, strategy, and planning in United States military and intelligence
The application of AI directives and policies in security and their long-term impact on United States military and intelligence
Current debates on technology policy, specifically concerning the global production of semiconductors, and their implications for United States military and intelligence.
