The Iran War has disrupted every aspect of the economic system we have taken for granted for two generations, from air travel to internet service, from a post-agricultural economy to stable trade routes.  John Feffer, leading American expert in international relations at the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington DC provides his insights on the implications of the Iran War for Japan.

John Feffer is the director of Foreign Policy in Focus, the leading progressive journal on international affairs in the United States. His books include Right Across the World: The Global Networking of the Far Right and the Left Response, The Pandemic Pivot, North Korea/South Korea, and Aftershock: A Journey into Eastern Europe’s Broken Dreams. He currently directs the Rare Earth Elements Group of Global Just Transition at Institute for Policy Studies. John Feffer is a researcher at the Asia Institute in Tokyo.
